LeitnerBox is flashcard-studying software provided as-is. The core app is free forever. Optional Pro features are provided by subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase through the Apple App Store.
You may use LeitnerBox without creating an account. If you sign in with Apple, Google, or email to enable cloud sync or Pro features, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Don't share your account; don't use it to break the law.
Violating these rules may result in account termination. We'll tell you why.
Your cards, boxes, and answer history belong to you. You grant us only the minimum license required to sync and back them up across your devices. If you delete your account, we delete that content within 7 days.
Pro pricing, features, and terms are displayed in-app and on the App Store before purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions can be cancelled any time in iOS Settings — your Pro access continues until the end of the current period.
Founder Lifetime purchases include a five-year feature and price lock: every feature shipped in Pro during the first 60 months after your purchase is included at no extra cost.
All refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request one. We'll cooperate with any reasonable Apple-initiated refund request.
We may change, improve, or retire features. Material changes to paid Pro features respect the Free Sync Promise on our home page, and Founder Lifetime purchases are protected by the five-year lock described above.
If we ever shut down the service entirely, we'll give at least 90 days notice and provide a clear path to export your data.
LeitnerBox is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of LeitnerBox is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the LeitnerBox operator is registered. Disputes are handled in the local courts of that jurisdiction unless consumer-protection laws grant you different rights.
